An investiture ceremony marks the transition from being ordinary students to becoming representatives of the school. This instills a sense of ownership and belonging among the student leaders. They become the face of the Institution and carry the responsibility to uphold its values, traditions and ideals.
The School Cabinet at St. Joseph’s High School, Nelson Mandela Road, Bannimantap had the Investiture Ceremony and administered the oath to the elected Cabinet members in the presence of the Chief Guest Dr. Helen from St. Joseph’s hospital.
Observed the “WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY” today under the slogan “Only One Earth”.
Students took to the streets to create awareness for collective action to address environmental challenges.
The feast of our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patroness of all the Carmelites was celebrated on July 15th with great joy and fervor.
This day was also celebrated as Foundation Day of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation which was founded 156 years ago, on July 16th at Bayonne by Venerable Mother Veronica.
The cultural programme was presented by the students of classes VI A & V A. The programme began by a prayer service seeking God’s and Mother Mary’s blessings on all. The significance of the day was highlighted. A skit on the importance of the day was dramatized by the students. A group of dancers performed beautifully honoring Mother Mary. The students conveyed festal wishes through a greeting song.
The 78th Independence Day at St. Joseph’s High School was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal. The celebration was a great success; it was initiated with Flag hoisting by our Joint Secretary / Manager and a peaceful prayer service followed by the cultural events from the students of STD X.
The Establishment Day was celebrated on 19th November. The day remarked the establishing of Apostolic Carmel Congregation in Indian soil in the year 1870 at St. Ann’s Convent, Mangalore. The incredible heritage and legacy of our Foundress was celebrated as Establishment Day. The drudgery of Mother Veronica and the Pioneering sisters were expressed in admiration and displayed in a befitting manner with joy, spirituality and a stellar of talents by students of Std. IV and Carmel Blossoms.
